As a boy I lived with my family of 4 boys & one girl , mom & dad in what you now call a National Urban Park. Our home was in the valley close to the 401 almost under the Bridge on the banks of the Rouge river where we fished ,swam .skated Among other things, The houses were only cottages ,,Our water came from a community well , 7 wells if I Remember right 3 we called community wells ! We had outhouses because never did have plumbing,,Our park was called Morgans Park and it was owned by
Mrs Morgan, When we first moved there WW2 was still active & the 401 was not built but had started
before and than stopped till after war had ended ,,oh yes memories
